How is LevelUp different from other schools?+
While most schools focus purely on technique, LevelUp prioritizes life skills alongside martial arts. Students develop self-confidence, self-control, focus, respect, and perseverance — skills that pay dividends far beyond the mat.
What ages do you accept?+
Our youngest students start at age 5, and we have students in their 60s and 70s. The whole family trains together in the same class — it's one of our most unique features.
Will Taekwondo make my child more aggressive?+
Absolutely not. Students are taught that martial arts are for self-defense, not aggression. Aggressive energy is channeled into assertiveness and self-esteem. Shy children also benefit — they build the confidence to make lasting friendships.
Will I get hurt?+
Not a chance. Nobody gets punched, kicked, or thrown to the ground in class. Safety rules are strictly observed at all times. Our instructors create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
Can I bring a guest to try class?+
Absolutely — that's actually how many of our families started! Friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates — all are welcome to try a trial membership as your guest. Just let the front desk know.
Do I need any prior experience?+
None at all. Beginners are our specialty. We meet every student exactly where they are and build from there. Your first class is free — no pressure, no commitment.
